Sudden cardiac arrest is a major public health concern and a leading cause of death. Several pre–COVID-19 and post–COVID-19 comparisons have found an association between the COVID-19 pandemic and worse adult out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) outcomes- ; however, to our knowledge, studies on pediatric OHCA outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic are limited. This study investigated the association of the COVID-19 pandemic with prehospital characteristics and outcomes of pediatric patients with OHCA in Japan.
