This module provides an overview of infectious diseases. The speaker reviews the impact of infectious diseases and how they are spread. She reviews sources of pathogens and those at most risk for infection. The speaker also discusses types of immunity and common pathogens.

Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Long Term Care Clinicians, Emergency Medicine clinicians and any other specialty where clinicians need to understand infection prevention and control.
