In this 60-minute, case-based educational activity, multidisciplinary faculty guide clinicians through contemporary diagnostic techniques and evidence-based treatment strategies for both nonerosive and erosive GERD, as well as H. pylori infection. The primary care-oriented activity includes discussion on the importance of understanding the pathophysiology of these conditions, addressing the risks associated with the long-term use of proton pump inhibitors, and integrating newly approved therapeutic options, all to address unmet needs in current practice.
