Abstract:
We aimed to describe the incidence and identify risk factors for the occurrence of short-term major posto-perative complications following colorectal resection for endometriosis.
Introduction:
Endometriosis is a chronic disease characterized by the presence of endometrial glands and stroma outside of the uterus [1]. It affects 7–10% of the female population, most commonly of reproductive age. The most common clinical presentations are dysmenorrhea, infertility, and adnexal masses.
