Research Article: Diagnostic validity of the Berlin questionnaire in patients with intracranial aneurysms
Abstract:
The Berlin questionnaire is commonly used to screen for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), but has not yet been validated in patients with intracranial aneurysm. Evidence indicates OSA to be a modifiable risk factor for poor outcome from intracranial aneurysm (e.g., subarachnoid hemorrhage). In this study, we determine the sensitivity and specificity of the Berlin questionnaire to identify patients with OSA in this population.
