Abstract:
Atrophic acne scarring often accompanies acne vulgaris. The efficacy of topical retinoids for treatment of acne is well documented; however, evidence for use in atrophic acne scars is limited.
Introduction:
Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that affects approximately 85% of the population [1, 2]. Although it often affects adolescents, acne can occur at any age and can persist into adulthood [1, 2].
