Research Article: Integrated Bioinformatics Analysis Reveals Diagnostic Biomarkers and Immune Cell Infiltration Characteristics of Solar Lentigines

Date Published: 2024-01-12

Abstract:
Solar lentigines (SLs), one of the most common benign hyperpigmented lesions in dermatology, predominantly affect middle?aged and older individuals of Caucasian and Asian descent. They have always been considered a clinical hallmark of skin aging, specifically photoaging, resulting from cumulative ultraviolet radiation (UVR) and chronic hyperpigmentation. However, the pathogenesis of SLs has not been completely understood and objective biomarkers are insufficient in SLs.
