Research Article: Prevalence and Factors Associated with Violence; Perceived Social Support and Health Access Among People with Disabilities in Rural Districts of Southern Ethiopia: Mixed Study
Abstract:
According to a World Health Organization (WHO) report, people with disabilities (PWDs) make up some % of the world’s population, % of whom reside in low-income countries. It is also estimated that there are million PWDs in Ethiopia, representing .% of the total population. The prevalence of disability in Ethiopia is drastically rising owing to the increasing burden of disease and injury. The term “disability” comprises activity limitations an individual may have due to physical, mental, and health problems.
