Research Article: Shenshuaifu Granule Attenuates Acute Kidney Injury by Inhibiting Ferroptosis Mediated by p/SLCA/GPX Pathway
Abstract:
Acute kidney injury (AKI), which could be triggered by rhabdomyolysis, sepsis, ischemia/reperfusion (IR) injury, and nephrotoxic drugs, is a prevalent and severe pathological condition characterized by a sudden decrease in renal function within a brief period. About million people are reported to have AKI each year, of whom about . million die from AKI or its complications. However, it is disturbing to note that while the causes of AKI are diverse, effective prevention and treatment measures are still lacking.
