Hypertension (HTN) is a critical global public health issue that significantly contributes to morbidity and mortality worldwide. HTN is a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases such as heart disease and stroke, which are the leading causes of death worldwide. Moreover, the prevalence of HTN differs among regions and income groups, showing a substantial rise in low- and middle-income countries.
