Abstract:
Tigecycline, a novel glycylcycline antibacterial agent, has shown remarkable efficacy against a wide spectrum of bacterial pathogens. Its potent activity extends across Gram-positive, Gram-negative and anaerobic bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis, vancomycin-resistant enterococci, KPC-producing Klebsiella pneumonia, extended-spectrum ?-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Enterobacteriaceae, and other multidrug-resistant (MDR) Gram-negative bacteria.,
