Introduction:
Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) are one of the most debilitating complications of long-term diabetes. DFU is at least partly the result of infection of uncontrolled foot wounds caused by neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease , and chronic low-grade inflammation.
