Research Article: Safety and Efficacy Analysis of PD- Inhibitors in Combination with Gemcitabine Plus Nab-Paclitaxel for Advanced Pancreatic Cancer: A Real-World, Single-Center Study
Abstract:
Pancreatic cancer is one of the first malignant cancers of the digestive system with the highest mortality., Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), the twelfth most common human malignant tumor and the seventh-leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, is the major pathological subtype of pancreatic neoplasms., Cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, chronic pancreatitis, family history of pancreatic cancer, diabetes and obesity are the well-recognized risk factors linked to this malignancy.– Surgical resection and lymph node dissection is currently considered to be the most potential treatment to achieve a favorable prognosis, yet only approximately % of patients with pancreatic cancer are operable at first diagnosis., For patients with metastatic, recurrent, or advanced pancreatic cancer, comprehensive treatment including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy is extremely important to improve survival., However, there was no consensus about optimal multimodality treatment for patients with unresectable pancreatic cancer.
