Abstract:
Diabetic nephropathy (DN), a prevalent vascular complication of diabetes mellitus, has significantly increased in incidence, especially in China. It has become a prominent contributor to disability and mortality in diabetic patients. However, the current diagnostic tools for DN, such as glomerular filtration rate and urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio, have limitations regarding their sensitivity and specificity, making early detection challenging.
