Abstract:
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common primary cancer of the liver and has a poor prognosis and high level of malignancy. Moreover, it is the sixth most frequent malignancy and the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. In China, the majority of patients with a diagnosis of HCC present with advanced, inoperable disease.– However, over the past few years, treatment for patients with advanced HCC modalities has evolved rapidly.
