Introduction:
Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome (SSSS) is a desquamative disease caused by the production of Exfoliative Toxin A (ETA) and Exfoliative Toxin B (ETB) by Staphylococcus aureus ( S. aureus ). It primarily affects newborns and children under the age of five with very rare cases reported in adults.
