Research Article: The Impact of Information Quality of Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test Report on the Rational Antimicrobial Use: A Retrospective Study
Abstract:
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) occurs when bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites no longer respond to medicine, making infections harder to treat and increasing the risk of disease, severe illness and death. Considering that the abuse of antimicrobials is a major cause of AMR, comprehensive measures have been utilized for decades to ensure rational antimicrobial use.
