China has entered into an aging society and will continue to age rapidly. According to China’s seventh national census, older adults aged ? accounted for .% of the total population in , among which those aged ? represented .%, and life expectancy also increased accordingly. The World Bank predicts that by , the proportion of older adults aged ? in the total population will reach % in China. The aging of the population is a major challenge faced by China’s social economy.
