Abstract:
As a common chronic non-communicable disease, diabetes has become a major public health issue in the world. A recent study indicated that there were approximately million diabetes patients worldwide, most of which were type diabetes mellitus (TDM) cases. In China, the prevalence of diabetes has increased steadily, and prolonged hyperglycemia leads to complications that seriously affect the patient’s life quality., Therefore, strategies to prevent and control diabetes have become an urgent public health need in China and the world.
