Research Article: Ultrasound Imaging in Subjects with Sickle Cell Disease: The Saudi Arabia Experiences
Abstract:
Sickle cell disease is a type of hereditarily acquired red blood cell (RBC) disorder, the most typical form of which is sickle cell anaemia (SCD). It is linked to the pathologic consequences of chronic illnesses, such as sickle cell crises, which can manifest in various forms in SCD patients, resulting in vaso-occlusion, ischemia in several organs, and complex illness of the cell.
