Abstract:
Good health and well-being are among the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations in December as part of the Agenda. In , the World Health Organization (WHO) incorporated patient satisfaction as an indicator to evaluate the quality and safety of healthcare systems in their updated global reference list of key health indicators. Although the literature lacks a precise definition for “patient satisfaction”, a fundamental understanding is that it represents the patient’s assessment of their treatment experience, taking into account both the actual care provided and individual patient characteristics.
