Research Article: Up-Regulation of miR--p Inhibits Hypoxia-Ischemia Brain Damage Through the DDIT-Mediated Autophagy Pathways in Neonatal Mice
Introduction:
Hypoxia-ischemia (HI) is one of the leading causes of mortality and disability among neonates. , No satisfactory neuroprotective clinical treatment against HI has been identified. Mild hypothermia has been used as a routine treatment method for neonatal HI. Nevertheless, many infants still survive with disability after hypothermia treatment. Therefore, there is an urgent need to advance our understanding of HI process and develop effective therapeutic strategies to rescue HI brain damage.
