Research Article: Functional Outcomes of Neglected Elbow Dislocation Treated with Double Approach Surgery
Abstract:
Elbow dislocation is a common orthopedic injury, with an incidence of approximately % of all articular dislocations. It is the second most common dislocated large joint in adults after the shoulder. A simple or isolated elbow dislocation was defined as a dislocation without concomitant fracture. Most (%) elbow dislocations are posterior or posterolateral, resulting from a fall on the outstretched hand with the forearm pronated.
