Introduction:
Thymic epithelial tumors (TETs), including thymomas and thymic carcinomas and thymic neuroendocrine tumors are the most common malignancies in the anterior mediastinum in adults [1]. The 2004 version of the World Health Organization (WHO) classification subdivides TETs into A, AB, B1, B2, B3 and C (thymic carcinomas) [2].
