Research Article: Macrophage-Related Gene Signatures for Predicting Prognosis and Immunotherapy of Lung Adenocarcinoma by Machine Learning and Bioinformatics
Abstract:
Lung cancer is the second most common cancer in the world and one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths globally.– Nearly % of lung cancer cases are non-small cell lung cancer, the most common histologic subtype of which is lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD).– Although much progress has been made in the arena of surgical treatment, prognosis has generally remained poor. The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) staging project showed a decrease in overall -year survival after surgical resection from % in stage IA to % in stage IIIB of LUAD.
