Research Article: Differences in Supervision on Peer Learning Wards: A Pilot Survey of the Supervisor’s Perspective
Introduction:
A global increase in health-care workers is predicted by the WHO. To meet this need, an increasing number of students are being trained for their future roles. This in turn puts pressure on clinicians, resulting in a lack of quality clinical placements. Placing multiple students on wards simultaneously to address this problem has the potential to create stress for the supervisor and reduce quality of learning for the students.
