Introduction:
The Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease recommendations suggest the use of triple therapy for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with persistent symptoms and risk of exacerbations. Patients with COPD on triple therapy have been shown to experience improved lung function and health-related quality of life as well as lower hospitalization rates. – However, evidence suggests that the complexity of multiple-inhaler regimens may decrease patient adherence. –
